Croatia:
the eight day trip

Day 1: This journey starts in Split, a city that lies on a bay and is the gateway to the numerous islands of the Dalmatian coast.
Day 2: We start by sailing to Trogir, a wonderful old city whose broad boulevards are lined with palm trees. Trogir is a labyrinth of small streets and squares each with charming restaurants. There is an old fortress and a nice market.
Day 3: The next day we sail along the coast, stopping in one of the many bays for a swim and a lunch break. Then we continue our trip, sailing to Primosten. This hillside village lies on a peninsula. By hiking to the highest point in town, we can get a great view and a fantastic sunset.
Day 4: We set course for the Kornat islands. Here we find a nice secluded bay for the night and have diner on board.

Day 5: In the morning you can take a refreshing dive into the bay and then enjoy a good breakfast. Then we sail through a narrow passage between two of the Kornat islands to reach the heart of the Kornat National Park. The park rangers and the supermarket boat will come along side our ship to sell us permits and supplies. If you wish, this is a great time for a hike on one of the islands. At night we leave the Kornats through another narrow passage and proceed to the Island of Iz.

Day 6: The harbour of Iz is surrounded by a charming hillside village. We can stroll up through the village and enjoy a drink on the terrace overlooking the harbour.Day 7:The last day we sail on to the old city of Zadar. This medieval town lies on a spit of land. As we approach from the sea it appears as village of red roofs. After a wonderful sail, it is nice to wander through the charming streets.
Day 8: Transfer back to Split and flight home.

Sometimes the eightday trip statrs in Sukosan, nearby Zadar. We than sail the reversed route from Zadar to Spit.
